Safe buying tips
- Never pay an advance or deposit for a vehicle you have not seen.
- Do not send copies of ID documents, bank card details or passwords.
- Be careful if the seller is in a hurry, asks to communicate only by email or offers delivery from abroad.
- Check the VIN and documents, inspect the vehicle in daylight.
- Report a suspicious listing with the “Report an inappropriate listing” button on the listing page, and a suspicious conversation via the ⋮ menu → “Report conversation”.
