Terms of use

1. General provisions

Keturi.lt is a classifieds website for vehicles, tyres and wheels. These terms apply to everyone who uses the website: browses it, creates an account, posts listings or writes messages.

By registering, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the website.

2. Account

• Accounts may be created by persons aged 18 or over and by companies. An account on behalf of a company may be created only by a person authorised to do so.
• When registering, you provide a real email address and confirm it. One person should use one account.
• You are responsible for the actions in your account. Do not disclose your password to anyone; if you suspect that others are using it, change it immediately.
• You can delete your account at any time in the settings – your listings, messages and other data are deleted together with it.

3. Listings

• You may only list vehicles, tyres, rims and wheels for sale that you have the right to sell.
• Listing information must be true and not misleading: condition, mileage, year, price, defects. Photos must show the actual vehicle or item for sale and be taken by you or used with permission.
• One vehicle or item – one listing. Duplicate listings are removed.
• A listing is valid for 60 days; you can renew, pause, mark as sold or delete it in “My listings”. Once sold, mark the listing as sold or delete it.
• The number of listings is limited: a private user may post up to 5 new listings per day and have up to 20 active ones, a company may post up to 10 per day and have up to 50 active ones, and a dealer verified by the administrator may post up to 50 per day.
• Listings are posted free of charge. If paid services are introduced, their price and conditions will be stated before ordering.

4. What is prohibited

• to commit fraud, list non-existent, stolen or otherwise unlawfully acquired vehicles, ask for an advance for an item that has not been inspected;
• to publish misleading information (e.g. reduced mileage, concealed defects), other people’s photos or other persons’ data without their consent;
• to post advertising, spam, links to other websites or listings unrelated to the item for sale;
• to insult, threaten, publish content inciting hatred or other offensive content;
• to send unsolicited messages, collect other users’ contacts;
• to use automated tools (bots, data scraping), bypass security measures or limits, disrupt the operation of the website.

5. Messages and reports of violations

Messages are intended for communication about listings. A seller can block a user who writes to them, and the number of messages is limited to protect against spam.

If you notice a violation, click “Report” next to the listing or conversation. We review reports; an administrator can read only the conversation that was reported.

6. Moderation

We may block a listing that violates the rules, and block an account completely, without prior warning. The owner of a blocked listing sees the reason. If you believe the decision is wrong, write to us.

7. Liability

Keturi.lt is a classifieds platform: we are not a party to transactions, we do not inspect vehicles and we do not guarantee the accuracy of the information in listings. The user who published a listing is responsible for its content; the buyer and the seller agree on the terms of the transaction between themselves.

Before buying, inspect the vehicle, check its documents and history (e.g. the VIN, the SDK code in the register), and do not pay an advance for an item you have not inspected. We try to keep the website running without interruptions, but we cannot guarantee this and are not liable for losses caused by its temporary unavailability, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Use of content

By posting a listing, you allow us to show it on the website and in its search, and to show the link to the listing in search engines. The design, software and database of the website belong to us; copying listings or data for other purposes, especially by automated means, is prohibited.

9. Changes to the terms, disputes and contacts

We may change the terms; the effective date is shown at the top of the page, and we will announce material changes on the website or by email. By continuing to use the website, you agree to the amended terms.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. We try to resolve disputes through negotiation; a consumer may also contact the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority of Lithuania (vvtat.lrv.lt).
